Abstract
This study examined the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for library services in Nigerian Universities. It adopted the qualitative and content analysis research methods to evaluate the issues at stake. It identified the areas of application in library services delivery, and highlighted the potential benefits and challenges. Findings reveal that AI could benefit the services of libraries in the areas of Acquisitions, knowledge organisation, circulation, reference services, serials management, etc. The challenges to the services provision of the library were equally highlighted.
