Abstracts
This study investigated the effects of a traditional-digital library mix on the improvement
of reading habits among students in public polytechnics in Osun State, Southwestern
Nigeria. It focused on investigating the level of reading habits among polytechnic students
and the effect of a mix of traditional and digital libraries on improving students' reading
habits in public polytechnics in Osun State, Southwestern Nigeria. A descriptive survey
design was adopted to carry out the research, using students in the Faculty of Management
Sciences at two public polytechnics in Osun State, Southwestern Nigeria. A questionnaire
was used for data collection purposes. Data collected were analyzed using chi-square and
regression analyses at the 0.05 level of significance. The study recommended maintaining a
mix of digital and traditional libraries to improve reading habits among students in public
polytechnics in Nigeria.
