Abstract
The establishment of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (Tetfund) do not seems to be given the
University Libraries the needed assistance to improve information service delivery with
respect to the information resources. The population of the study was 351 academic
librarians drawn from federal university libraries in South-South and South-East, Nigeria.
Mean and standard deviation was used in answering the research questions while
independent t-test was also used in testing the hypotheses at .05 level of significance.
Finding shows that TETFUND library intervention on Information resources have influence
on information service delivery in federal university libraries in South-South and South-
East, Nigeria. The study further recommends that TETFund should ensure that federal
university libraries are provided with the needed information resources that would assist university libraries in improving their information service delivery to library patrons.
Again, the University management should be prompt and pay urgent attention to issues
concerning Tetfund especially when it concerns the Library.
